AMPX-Tm-TGM is a water-cooled thulium gain module with integrated forward pumping and ASE filtering. It is designed to overcome nonlinear effects and amplified spontaneous emission limitations in high peak power operation. As a result, it enables clean and stable short-pulse amplification in the 2 µm range.

  • Main Application Areas: The AMPX-Tm-TGM serves demanding applications in science, industry, and aerospace wherever short-pulse amplification in the 2 µm range is required. In particular, its patented tapered double-clad fiber delivers peak powers up to 5 kW at near-diffraction-limited beam quality (M² < 1.4).
  • Typical Industries: Designed for advanced photonics research and industrial ultrafast laser development, the AMPX-Tm-TGM features a turn-key architecture with built-in pump diodes, an integrated ASE filter, and active thermal monitoring. As a result, it simplifies the integration of high-power 2 µm systems.
