TAILORED PHOTONIC ENGINEERING
At Ampliconyx, we provide end-to-end custom photonics – spanning application-optimized Tapered Double-Clad Fiber (T-DCF) geometries, modular gain stages, and turnkey MOPA laser engines. Our technical team works directly alongside your engineering staff to review every system requirement and define the ideal custom architecture for your needs.
At the fiber level, we tailor taper profiles, dopant concentrations Yb, Er, Tm, and Mode Field Diameters (MFD up to 70 µm) to achieve single-mode quality M² ~ 1.1 and mitigate non-linear effects at extreme peak powers.
For system integrators, we deliver custom ready-to use gain modules, isolators, and conduction-cooled OEM packaging. If your platform demands a complete source, we engineer turnkey laser engines matching your exact central wavelength (520 – 532 nm, 1030 – 1080 nm, 1.8 – 2 µm), pulse timing, control logic, and mechanical chassis constraints. From initial requirements to fully integrated laser systems
To what extent can optical parameters be customized independently?
Most key parameters – including central wavelength, pulse width, repetition rate, peak power, and polarization ratio – can be customized. However, because optical parameters inherently interrelate (for instance, increasing peak power or spectral bandwidth affects nonlinear thresholds and fiber geometry selection), our engineers work closely with you to balance these variables for peak performance.
Can Ampliconyx integrate custom components or pigtails provided by our team?
Yes. We routinely adapt our gain modules to incorporate customer-specified optical components, specialized pump diodes, custom pigtail fiber types, or proprietary connectors to ensure straightforward integration into your higher-level assembly.
